Who We Are
A Registered Architect in the State of Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, James Smith, A.I.A. Member and President of CBP Services Corp, received his education in South Florida. As Senior Consultant for nine years with C. Bruce Priest & Company, Inc., Miami, Florida, a project cost analysis service, Mr. Smith’s responsibilities included construction field review for multi-family residential projects, offices and commercial structures and land development; plus monitoring and evaluating construction progress and adherence to plans and specs with regard to draw requests.
Mr. Smith has also been a staff architect, associate and senior associate with several established South Florida architectural firms. He is presently head of his own private architectural practice in Southwest Dade County.
Mr. Smith is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is a member of the local state and national chapters of the American Institute of Architect and the Construction Specifications Institute.
Steve Krysowaty - Senior Vice President of CBP Services Corp earned his Master of Architecture at Washington University. He is also a Licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida. Steve has spent nine years with C. Bruce Priest & Company, Inc., Miami, Florida, a project cost analysis service from which CBP Services Corp was formed. His responsibilities for both firms encompass all aspects of the company’s services including conducting on-site cost and progress, condition evaluations, coordinating project assignments as well as negotiating new business, contract preparation and administration. He also served as construction consultant, project manager and engineering associate on a diverse variety of private and public sector construction projects.
Steve is duly certified with both the American Institute of Certified Planners and the Construction Specifications Institute.
Neil Greenspoon is a Registered Professional Engineer and is licensed as a General Contractor. He has years of experience in positions as Project Manager, Contractor and as a Design Engineer. Neil has earned his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. From 1982-2004 Neil Greenspoon had been President and Owner of Greenspoon Construction and Improvement Co. Inc. He then served as Project Manager for CDI Construction prior to his affiliation with CBP Services Corp. At CDI Construction he was responsible for the Administration and Management of several large residential renovation projects and numerous projects for FP&L. At CBP Services Corp. his responsibilities include: Plan and Cost reviews for both new construction and renovation projects, conducting on site inspections to determine the value of work- in- place including a progress condition evaluation. He also conducts structural condition
evaluations along with estimates for repair.
